Reverberations of the sounds of sexual intercourse penetrating thin walls

So I've spent my day tending to the needs of disgruntled parents who are shitty because their kid(s) has/have been nagging them all school holidays to take them to the zoo and they come to the realisation that today was the last day they could. I weary from employing techniques, that are draining unto themselves, fabricated to deter those peoples efforts to make my job as unpleasant as possible. (May I add this is a blanket generalisation; there is a population of zoo attendees who are considerate because, I assume, have had the pleasures of working in retail).
So waffling aside I'm physically exhausted and as a result of alcohol consumption not as mentally sharp as I'd like to be also. In turn I ask you to pardon my comparatively short analysis's of these music bits. Feel free to leave positive of negative feedback on anything for my personal entertainment, I'm impervious to your opinion anyway.

The Russian Futurists with Let's get Ready to Crumble. Don't know where the fuck these guys are from except the first song of this track is super happy funtimes and I know I've heard it somewhere before (I think a snowboarding movie) but I can't put my finger on it and it's totally giving me the shits big time.
This EP thingy is so much fun I listen to it over and over a gain on repeat. Song like Let's Go Surfing are like the Beach Boys minus that homosexual innuendo that someone who didn't grow up in that era with that genre and doesn't understand old music picks up on. THIS IS INDIE MUSIC. Californian Indie Precis.
Jazz. Jazz is the greatest music of all time. St Germain is a modern day genius. This is a compilation thing by him. Pretty funky. If you don't like Jazz you're probably retarted and won't like this. However if you are a blessed person who can appreciate Jazz, then you cannot go past thing. Throw a dinner party.
And I quote "This is what we call 'Easy Listening Underground House Music'"
Nothing cooler, nothing.
Nick Cave, most underrated music/creative genius of our generation? Yeah probably. I've never been a big Bad Seeds guy however in this one he teams up in a duo with his mate Warren Ellis who is from the Dirty Three. So in a musimathics language that's:
Nick Cave + The Bad Seeds = Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
Nick Cave + The Dirty Three = Grinderman
Warren Ellis + 2 other bearded madmen = The Dirty Three
Nick Cave + Warren Ellis = Nick Cave and Warren Ellis
Nick Cave and Warren Ellis + the score for the movie The Propositions = White Lunar (this CD).
So ridiculously good listen to this before you die or die.

Early Junior Boys CD Begone Dull Care. Awesome title for a CD and a nice minimalist CD cover too. Well worth a listen to some mellow electronica something or other. I can't say it sounds anything like Crystal Castles but it's something about these Canadians, they tend to get it right.
Julian Plenti is the lead singer from Interpol who's obviously branched off to do a bit of his own thing. Coming from a band that is known for being so vocally strong, Plenti doing a solo thing means that you just get another CD that sounds like Interpol. Solo side projects seem to have this strict template to follow which is "be the same as your main band, but softer". Eg- Rain Machine, Antony and the Johnstons and ... item A below. Not that any of that is a bad thing.
There's two things I can't put my finger on about this CD: 1. why I like it, and 2. why I it bugs me a tiny little bit. But it's soulful and super pleasant to listen to. And I've been having difficulty scrolling by it on my itunes without just a little listen. And conclusively I'm left with nothing more to add. You decide.
Doom, and MF Doom as he's more affectionately and traditionally known as, is a king. He's illusive, disappears for long periods of time and wears a badarse gold mask around. For anyone who digs undergroundish rap get on to this except beware because I bought a CD by "MF Doom" called Nastradoomus but it just turned out to be Nas. I still don't know what the fuck is going on and noone can explain it to me.
I've been meaning to get my mits on this for a long while now and I finally did it, I finally fucking did it! This one is a little gem. It's a good chilled party record; quirky and funny and full of unspoken "woohoos". What?
Anyway In Flagranti, as I read somewhere, is about an underground Italian fashion movement quite some time back. This guy was so stoked on it that he named his little outfit after it and started making beats about it too. Definitely worth a listen, do some research too, you might actually learn something... or just watch Australian Idol that's got everything you need to know about music on there...
