Muzak

Here some CD's that have been spinning in my presence of late:

IRM - Charlotte Gainsbourg - Eclectic, shoegazey.

Wooden Arms - Patrick Watson - you can hear the Canadian in this from a mile away, easy listening, acoustic and beautiful.

Logos - Atlas Sound - Electropoppy, undeniable Panda Bear influence.

More Songs to Learn and Sing (The Very Best) - Echo and the Bunnymen - no need for an explanation.

Gorilla Manor - Local Natives - kind of like a fusion of some of my favourite bands from recent history eg Grizzly Bear, Fleet Foxes, etc.

Between You and Me - Fabienne DelSol - French and poppy, fun. Zee Avi-esque.

Inglorious Basterds Soundtrack - European symphony. Killer track from Bowie on there too which reminds me of Madamemoiselle Mimieux

The Definitive Greatest Hits - Al Green - Doobie music. Al Green is killing it.

Mellow Dramas - Jen - Mellow electronic jazz fusion.

Remote Control - Jet Tricks feat. Adefunke - Killer British acid jazz which insane vocals.

D-Miles - Tassel and Naturel - House Jazz with a touch of Trip Hop. Killer record.

Afternoon Cocktail - Monodeluxe - Easy-listening electronic with an undercurrent of jazz. Classic.
