Have you got your green bag?

It's not that I don't appreciate the work of extremely high end Parisian fashion houses, because I really do. But to me, the fashion world is a mysterious universe, mutually exclusive to object and product design. Fashion, when looked at under the design microscope, is a little baffling due to it's utter existentialism. The SS2010 Prada range didn't make the world a better place like Yves Behars $100 Notebook did. Noone actually needs a $1200 dollar pair of see-through linen Dior Homme slacks. But I love beautiful things, and more often than not, fashion, coupled with style, delivers. Moreso, fashion is design and design processes are applied. Which brings me loosely to this...

I was astounded when I saw this, and certainly not because of the Prada or Louis Vuitton or whateveritwas label attached either. There's a special spot in design fame reserved for innovators, and it's right next to class and style. This bag executes all three. I can't believe I'm saying this with my jaded opinion towards snobby high end fashion powerhouses and a distaste for anything with an evident disregard for functionality. But there's something about this that is so cool. But don't look at it for too long, or you'll start to have flashing hallucinations of a Paris Hilton styled transvestite carrying 4 multicoloured Chihuahuas around in this cage.
