Seriously? A post about a rug.

I feel that rugs are a bit of an untapped resource for design creativity. Or perhaps the lack of documentation and publicity, coupled with my elementary knowledge of the rug market means that amazing design is being communicated through rugs but noone knows about it? Alternatively, I happened upon this gem from, surprise surprise, another blog. I've never seen a rug that I'm more attracted to honestly. This has got such class, and a regality that connotates the White House, or the le château de Versailles. That said, I'm sure it would look a little awkward in an apartment next to The Egg Chair or The Barcelona Seat. Nonetheless it's beautiful and inspires me to one day pour some interest and time into the design of a rug.
